Been to two diff tracks since resetting gauge but forgot to check which one produced which numbers.

I've never paid much attention to these rather obscure max G-Force numbers in the past but I think I will do so going forward if I can remember to perform a reset. Maybe I could use it as a very broad, overly general overview as to how I was driving and how the car (tires mostly) was performing.

I think they also give you a pretty good snapshot of general driving styles too....

Well, that's some great acceleration anyway.

Launch?

Here's current on the Turbo S - street since it's never on track. Not even any decent twist roads, unfortunately. I guess the GT4 on track fulfills that need.

However, I need to get out and at least do a Launch in the TTS to see what it reads. I'm curious as I've never paid attention to that G reading afterwards. It's been a long time since a launch in that car!

That was a launch on a downhill onramp. Not sure if going downhill increases or decreases the g-force, a I have seen it over 1.2 in the past... Either way, true launch is brain scrambling -- literally disorienting. Clearly I need to tune it.

Regarding launch, you've got that pegged correctly. It is incredible!

To your last point, definitely insufficient HP when stock. A tune will cure that.

Same here. First time out in this car without knowing what its capabilities are. The two instructors I knew were pulling 1.8G and 2.0G on factory tires, so I was still in Sandbox 101.

I am not familiar with the 992 and the glass panel instruments, but how do you reset the G meter in a 992 GT3 RS?

Wouldn't it be nice to download an Owner's Manual for the car for the 3 days I am in one on the track.

I've had to scrounge and beg to get pdf versions of owner's manuals. It's unfortunate that Porsche (and other auto manufacturers) make that so difficult.

Sadly, pdfs matter less now since both the printed and pdf versions refer users to digital app manuals for much of the material. ("Further information can be found in the digital manual ...")

I came across a GT3-GT3RS Owner's Manual in PDF.

Of course when you drive a vehicle so infrequently and they are different from your daily driver, it is a learning curve once again.

My GTS saw a mere 546 miles this summer, mind you, I have motorcycles as well that I drive more. I just have zero interest driving on public roads...unless I had the Porsche stored in the Alps.
