Understandably we ICE'rs are subject to and allowed to have our histrionics - part and parcel of the visceral love for the magnificent internal combustion engines that have reached incredible heights of performance, reliability, cleanliness, etc. that very few ever imagined a few decades ago. Long Live ICE!!
Naturally and obviously, EVs are here to stay at some level and are fine too! Hybrids, hydrogen, steam and whatever else might come out of the depths of some mad scientist's or some wild-eyed disruptor's incomparable brain will be ok too. (A nuke-powered 911 anyone?

)
Peace!

Here's another Tesla EV conversion. From this morning's Stuttgart Market Letter:
NOTEWORTHY SALES (AND NO-SALES)
"We’ve seen some final bids pretty far off what seller’s expect, but with a final bid of $32,000 against a Buy Now of $185,000, what happened here? This 1975 911 Targa was modified with RS-style fender flares and a long hood and is finished in the VW shade of Bamboo over a custom Black and Tan interior. But it’s what powers this 911 that’s a bit different. That would be a Tesla Model S Performance drive unit with 16kWh battery. While lots of work went into this one, I’m not sure the market is looking for ~$200k electric 911s."

David Whitlock's daily emailed Stuttgart Market Letter is very good. It's a solid and revealing synopsis of each day's activity of Porsche sales and no-sales. Plug for David - can sign-up here if interested:
