Thom, appreciate your comments and the kind words. With 400hp braking is important.

Can't really do anything except let anyone know that's considering this setup to find another path. I know I've saved some guys already, including one at a local meet this past weekend that wanted to do exactly what I did. He's going with Big Reds now:) And you didn't sound smug at all. I appreciate your comments.TooManyWrenches wrote: Tue Jul 30, 2024 2:33 pm Not sure what you will be able to do at this point. Sounds like you got burned by an out of country vendor, and that puts you in a pretty tough place. Maybe file a report with the Finland authorities? I do empathize with you though, I think we all have gotten burned before (or will be eventually).
Sorry if I sounded smug.
I would say it depends on "how much" the front end dives under heavy braking. In my case most of the somewhat remarkable heavy nose dive typical of a stock 944TS (with medium black calipers) has gone since using the 5/33 valve with the big black calipers.Jotronic wrote: Tue Jul 30, 2024 7:35 am I’m considering this but not sure I need it. With my 996TT setup for front and rear, my braking feels stock at the pedal (save for increased bite of course) but based on disc and pad wear so far it doesn’t look like the rears are biting very much. My rear discs aren’t showing a lot of evidence of pad contact like the fronts are after a couple hundred kilometres of use.
