I really didn't experience that much of the non-Porsche events.

It seems that the auctions were successful. I'd rate the event an "A".

I also got to drive my new 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo. It was the best Porsche car that I have ever driven to the event. It was great even going home. The Journey was part of the fun.

So, you are a big Michigan fan?

I am an UGA alumni and glad to be one. I ain't giving them any of my money.

I'd say talking to your car event neighbor is #1. I still find a bunch of Porsche guys that know the hobby. It's fun as hell talking with other Porsche guys. I also knew a few as the Peachtree Region thing.

I'd say a direct social contact is better than an internet contact. :D

Today's e-Brake News has a good follow-up to this past weekend's Amelia Island Werks Reunion. (Hopefully the link works for everyone.)

And a bunch of beyond gorgeous judged 356's at Werks:

Gotta check out the 1957 356 Speedster in Aquamarine Blue that won first in its class. Unbelievable.

It's all good with the Porsche 356 cars. They are the ultimate Porsche car in the lightweight design. They won races before we were born.

Courtesy of Hagerty, here are the 2023 Werks Reunion Amelia Island entrants and their cars - 160 judged cars plus 520 others officially listed in the Corral.

If any of you from Carpokes have their cars on the lists, congratulations!!! (Let us know!)
