hello, I've got my first Porsche (1987 NA 944) about a year ago. It was sitting for years and the last owner gave up on trying to save it. It wasn't in too bad of shape. few dents and dings here. The interior looked like what you would expect. I've been working on getting it back to where I would like to. The engine was an easy fix, just a broken fire for the crank sensor. then i repainted the car my self. I'm honestly surprised how good it looks for being done with no experience and inside my garage. I've also flocked the dash and replaced the shifter. I've got seats on the way and just did a overhaul on the engine for reliability.
