Last week I put my '17 Cayenne base in the body shop for some minor repairs to the RF, but it requred a new bumper cover. I picked the car up Friday and immediately found out the A/C wasn't blowing cold. Nothing I did would change the temp, then I noticed the outside temp reading said 31 degrees F. So...I returned it to the shop yesterday and they checked, said everything was plugged in(I told them I suspected the temp sensor was left unplugged). So posting on RL got me a response from an owner who had experienced the same thing, and it turns out the sensor is in the right front wheel well and the pigtail for it is identical to the one for the light/turn signal. Only problem is the amperage is way higher for the light, so plugging the sensor into that pigtail frys it in most cases. I relayed that to my body shop today, haven't heard anything yet but we'll see. On the bright side, they are owning up to the problem, and I'm hoping a new sensor and correct wiring selection will fix the issue.
