Anyone had covid?

My wife tested positive on 6th July, I tested positive 7th July. Been feeling crap. Triple vaccinated. I have sore throat, headache, achy, really hot, stuffy nose, tired. Strangely, my wife is cold and has no appetite, where as I want to eat…. Strange how different people are affected. Sleep pattern is all out of sync too. It’s fairly grotty!

Had it last week for first time. Day 2 and 3 were the worst. Chills, sweating, and fatigue mainly. Still tested positive after 5 days. I'm back to normal now.

My wife and I, both in our mid-late 70's, got vaccinated early as our pediatrician neighbor insisted we get vaxxed as soon as it came out. We got our booster(actually a 3rd full dose of Moderna) in early August, 2021. In February we both had Covid, mine was one day of a head cold, Karen felt bad for 2-3 days. We've since had our 2nd booster and while I have strange smells occasionally no otherwise effects. She had Covid brain fa couple of months.

I have never had it. My wife had it a month ago with little sickness. We stayed on different floors in the house.

My son just got it for the second time. His entire office got it (6 employees). They all came in and worked since they all had it, and all were young healthy employees.

Both me and my partner have had it twice . April 2020 then this year one in January one in April . Two very different experiences. She gets hit much worse than me . Never
Life threatening. Second time around both fully vaccinated and fully boosted. We determined just to live with the reality that it’s part of the environment and move along .

Bumping a dormant post, but I have it now, for the first time. Vaxxed and boosted some time ago. Not the worst thing, between a bad cold and a mild flu I'd say - cough, fever, fatigue, body aches.

I'm living in my office and sleeping in the guest room.

Our pre Christmas vacation to California is probably off...

A couple I know both got it. They went to a party last weekend, and it seems that most everyone got sick. All had mild flu-like symptoms. Nothing serious.

I am going to a Xmas party this Saturday and then stay away from gatherings until after the holidays. I'll do Xmas Eve with my Dad who is 94. He sure doesn't need it.
