This downloadable PDF explains how to 'wake-up' the lithium battery in a 992, in the event it gets too low and shuts itself off. Might be useful to carry in the glove box just in case. Finding this info in the owner's manual, on the side of the road, is not fun....

I wasn't able to open this file on my iPad but it was ok on my PC. Not sure if others have had the same problem.

Were you not able to download it, or would the file not open when you tried to open the download? If you couldn't download, then maybe you were not logged in? I just tried it on my iPhone and had no problems downloading and seeing it....? I'll try on an iPad shortly...

I could download it but the file couldn't be opened by Acrobat.

I'm on my iPad now and it is opening fine for me. After I hit download, there's a circle with a down arrow in blue just to the right of the search bar at the very top of the screen. If I tap that after downloading, the pdf comes up and looks great.
